My First Book - A Cat for the Keeper
I’ve been keeping a secret which I can finally share! I partnered with WeeBox and Birlinn Books to bring my short story “A Cat for the Keeper” to life in its own little printed edition - my first time with my name on the cover of a book - pinch me!

Special thank you to Scotland's bestselling author Peter May for his lovely comment on my story, I really hope you all will like it too. This collaboration is for WeeBox’s February box - I will leave more details in the comments, and am excited to say this is just the beginning for these characters who have been adventuring around in my mind since I first dreamed them up last year.
WeeBox is the best, and run by an amazing powerhouse of a woman named Amy, who describes the February box here:
“This month, we’ve curated the delightfully romantic ‘From Edinburgh with Love’ WeeBox which will transport you to our glorious capital city. A salute to February, the month of love, experience gifts to indulge and enjoy with your laddie or lassie… or just for you! Order yours by midnight 31st January”

(The story takes place in Scotland but this photo was taken at one of my favorite lighthouses in my home state of Maine. The Kindle is a placeholder until I get my box soon! )
