That tiny blue dot is my tent - I spent last night solo on the iconic Suilven after a 6 mile hike in. What a beast this hill is - a hard earned victory! It was a windy and wet night and the 6 miles out this morning soaked me to my bones despite being prepared for rain (it’s Scotland after all!) but it was worth it 😍
Edit: I feel I need to say, I felt it was safe or I would not have done it. I made an informed decision based on the forecast and being on site. I appreciate your concern, I don’t do things like this without thought. Full length blog coming soon!
